FAB Lab

The Fabrication Lab is also known as the STEAM lab.  Students come to the lab with their homeroom class.  Students are challenged to Think Globally and Act Locally.  The SPIKE's Engineering Design Process is used as students first See a Need and then proceed with Problem Solving and Research.  Students are then taught to Initiate a Plan, (K)reate and Design and finally to Evaluate and Improve.  The Fabrication Lab also houses our Hydroponics, 3D Printers and computers, Podcast and Video Equipment, and so much more.  ​

Makerspace Collab Lab

The Collaboration Lab is also known as the Makerspace lab.  Students come to this lab with their teachers.  Here they are able to learn and explore the many Makerspace offerings.  This is an alternative lab space for teacher's to use for any of their classroom projects as well.  The Collaboration lab houses a variety of furniture and white boards to collaborate and plan on, Lego robotics and a Lego wall, Robotics table, Merge cubes, Sphero, Little Bits, marble runs, sewing machines and so much more.

Living Lab

The Living Lab is home to our many Blankner Creatures.  Students care for the animals in the lab and deliver them to teachers' classrooms for other students to enjoy.  The hydroponics grown in the Fab Lab help to feed the creatures in our Living Lab.
