Our Middle School students enjoy utilizing the STEAM lab too!

​Spanish 1 and Beginner's Spanish are creating a Guatemalan Barrilete to celebrate Hispanic Heritage month.  They have been researching and learning all about this Guatemalan custom.  In Steam they are given a limited supplies list.  Their challenge is to create a Barrilete that can fly for up to 30 seconds, contains a minimum of 3 colors and must contain a message from each member of the group about Hispanic Heritage month to fly up to the ancestors.
